I'm so excited to participate in another reading challenge. Katrina at Callapider Days is hosting a Fall Reading Challenge! One of the best parts of participating in such a challenge is getting to put this REALLY KEWL graphic in my sidebar! Doesn't looking at it make you want to just snuggle up by a nice warm fire under a cozy blanket to read all day? Preferably with rain or snow coming down outside? It does me!
My friend, DeEtta, is hosting a Summer Reading Challenge. YIPPEE. Maybe I'll finish reading some of the books I have piled up here on my desk, beside my bed, on the floor by the couch, in the Yukon, in my tote bag, and a zillion other places I keep things on hand incase I'm ever without something to do for a few minutes (LOL).
Our youngest will turn four tomorrow. That means I could conceivably have some reading time during a park/pool day since he will be old enough to watch from a distance now instead of having to stand right beside him every second. I'm a list checker-off type person so this is the kick-it-into-gear type motivation I needed! Thanks for setting this up, DeEtta!I saw this Spring Reading Thing way back in March when I was surfing the internet looking at blog designs that have been created by Susie at Bluebird Blogs. I didn't sign up to participate at that time because I knew my blog was going to be overhauled and I was trying to clean up the side margin before the overhaul. I was also tied up with graduation plans and really didn't have much time for reading. However, I did make a list (LOL). Since I'm still wading through the Benjamin Franklin book and haven't even gotten to the others yet, I decided to put my book list at the top of the page and call it good for both challenges.

Great list Cynthia. It reads a little like a Sonlight Core!

I was trying to figure out how to add myself to the Book challenge and it's given me a headache.LOL These look like great books! I'm enjoying everyone's lists!
Your new blog looks great! I haven't been on many lately and have just made it through to yours. I really like the changes you've made!
LOL, I have had several of the same books on my list for many months. I WILL get through them! But I don't think I could stand the pressure of the Summer Reading Thing!
My oldest son was reading The Cross and the Switchblade but he never finished, I am not sure why.
Looks like a good book list!!

Yea....glad you're back to blogging! I just did my reading list. I think this will be a fun challenge.
Looks like a great list! I'm adding the Dear America one to my list. I enjoy those and haven't read that one. My grandmother's name was minnie and she lived through the depression. Hmm wonder if I'll notice any more similarities!
