So much for my intentions of recapping each day as we go along... I guess Tim was right. I barely have enough time to GET THROUGH the days let alone recap what we've done. Up by 5:30 each am and I don't remember being in bed before midnight anytime in the recent past, but I may have and just don't remember (LOL).
*many hours spent trying to find pool time for the synchronized swim team thanks to the Y for once again deciding that our girls can't swim there. Hopefully I can find some pool time somewhere else to at least get the girls through this year.
*trying to get in 1/2 hour of bike or walk and 1/2 hour of weights each day.
*school and all that entails.... maybe I'll detail that sometime after the 1st of the year
*scheduled more appointments than I care to recall... ortho, dental, skin, acne, general checkups, vet appt for the dog, haircuts, Christmas photo for when our extended family is here for Christmas, accountant meetings, etc. Em will start ortho soon and Amanda needs to have her wisdom teeth out soon. I think I need my eyes checked again (LOL). The boys are all fine... only us girls are falling apart and our dog seems to have caught Amanda's allergy to everything.
*shopping, shopping, and more shopping every time we go to town.
*normal co-op stuff plus "extra" co-op planning for MCT plays (passing that on to other moms who have offered to help), pizza party planning for this coming Monday, co-op appreciation gifts for 10 people (still working on shopping for those baskets), and starting to think about the 2007-2008 school year already.
*lessons... all kinds of them... one or more kids are taking - piano, guitar, drum, and art each week...... good thing we have a "light" schedule now.... after January we'll have to add in skiing, basketball, and volleyball.
*cleaning... TONS of cleaning. Our goal is to have the house entirely deep cleaned by tomorrow night when Amanda is having a party here.
*I want to scrapbook next week while we're on Christmas break so I need to SERIOULY clean out my scrapbooking room which is the store-all room this time of the year... wrapping paper mess, things removed from the living room to accomodate the Christmas tree, etc.,
*book work and LOTS of it since we're nearing the end of the year... my new bookkeeping and filing system here at home has worked REALLY well this year so I think I've FINALLY hit on something doable after 5 years of trying something different each year. I bagged the Quicken program and now I only record on a spreadsheet the things that I need to know for taxes and I don't worry about the rest. Maybe next year I can add back in a little bit of categorizing... but as long as we don't go over our "budget" I'm not going to worry about too much detail... too much detail is what put me behind the last few years and it would literally take an entire week to get it all caught up doing nothing but bookwork all week. NONE of that this year!
*bookwork for the accountant which is due by Fri... still not done.... but I have one more day, right?,... oops.. I forgot I'll be out shopping all day today and have band practice tonight... tomorrow we have more appts and shopping and a Christmas party. I guess there's always Saturday.... still hoping to have work, cleaning, and Christmas tasks all wrapped up by Monday night so I can spend some time scrapbooking Tues-Fri next week.
*there's NOTHING on the schedule after Monday of next week just incase I have to spend any measureable amount of time practicing anything for our 5 Christmas eve services. If I don't have any practicing then I'll have time to scrapbook since my timeline says I'll have everything else done by Monday night... we'll see.... there's still a lot left on my to-do list.
*Christmas cards... still working on them.... They should be out by Monday if all goes well.
*budget for next year.... ours is an annual budget and it usually takes until the end of the year for all categories of my budget to balance... WHEW.... I should finish this year's stuff by the end of the week (alot of our bills are "annual" ones) and now I can set up next year's budget to see how we'll fit in the above dental stuff....
*We've done WAY more than this in the last week, but now I've run out of time.

CRIMINEY....that's what I've forgotten...the CHRISTMAS LETTER! YIKES! ::snort:: I knew I was having far to much leisure time...ARGH and the mail list is on the crashed computer. Oh my....I shouldn't have read your list today. ::gasp::
I laughed at your list of appts. Bre sent home a list of things she needed done: eyes, hair, teeth and so she will be up 4 of the 9 a.m.'s she is here to be at these things...and she HATES early a.m.'s. Oh well - she'll be here only the week after Christmas - take what you can get at that point. LOL
I think that one week's worth of recaps is suficient to demonstrate how full your life is, Queen Bee! LOL!

Phew I'm tired just reading your re-cap.
Things have been much quieter here and I still haven't managed to blog this week, kudos to you for getting to it even if not daily!
